Inner Body Wisdom Mentorship

Inner Body Wisdom Mentorship I work with women on the eating recovery path and I have also travelled the path myself. That is where the Inner Body Wisdom Coaching program was born. Join Us.

Integrative Mentorship rooted in nearly two decades of psychotherapy, supporting women in deconstructing diet culture, internalized patriarchy, and generations of inherited conditioning so that we can remember and return home to the wisdom of the body. It is a life-long journey that requires a LOT of love, a LOT of compassion, and a LOT of support. After years of supporting women through psychotherapy, I realized that the true gap in support was for those who do not quite need a treatment center, but the one-on-one therapy was not moving their recovery along the way they wanted. To support women in eating recovery who want more than the talk therapy approach but do not need to enter a higher level of care treatment center. It is for women who desire a holistic approach to their ongoing recovery from food, body and diet culture challenges. It is for women who know the value of community. For women who want to invite their body into the recovery journey as opposed to just the mind. It is for women who are finally ready to drop into their true, deep, raw and beautiful essence within through somatic practices, expressive arts, psycho-education, play, and so much more...

Inner Body Wisdom Coaching integrates art therapists, gentle somatic yoga practitioners, nervous system specialists, psycho-education and a world of possibility within. We are here to accompany you on the path.

A 7-Week Container for the woman wants to meet herself, her body, and her life's story sacredly — to understand the interplay between thousands of years of feminine erasure and its connection to pathology, and to embrace her own conscious feminine evolution.

Facilitated by an Integrative Psychotherapist turned Archetypal Mentor Laurel Ann & Somatic Experiencing Therapist Laura Oswald.

These containers are for female-identified individuals who:
* Are seeking ongoing support from competent practitioners after a higher level of care, but want an experience distinct from therapy
* Have felt a deep calling to reclaim dormant parts of themselves and are ready for a paced container of remembering on a Soul level
* Have been impacted by religious trauma yet desire a connection to something greater, outside of dogma
* Are re-orienting to Self after a major change or transition (divorce, empty nest, career shift, etc.)
* Who is willing to engage, explore, and take responsibility for her own unfolding

Held in a serene location near Horsetooth Reservoir.

I’ve supported women returning to themselves for years. I am one of them. We’re all on the sacred spiral in one way or another 🌀

One very strategic, culturally infused message along this spiral path is that the ‘right’ body will be the answer to…(fill in the blank).

Keeping us chasing an answer to wholeness instead of experiencing the perfection of the body we live in will forever keep us distracted…from our power/truth/love/essence, you name it. ✨

Returning to the distant memory where our body simply revealed to us our joy, is a right of every human being on this planet.

To be ‘in’ our body vs. thinking about our body is a very different experience.

We don’t ‘think’ our way to or**sm. We or**sm because we’ve allowed our body the freedom to express itself - without judgement.

We don’t ‘think’ about the smell of lavender after our fingers graze through its flowers when we walk our dog in the evening, we ‘feel’ the smell in our whole bodies. 🪻

We don’t think about the arms that wrap themselves around us when feeling scared or lonely, we experience our nervous system release into the relief of connectedness. 💛

Being IN our body is a sacred act - especially right now.

It is an act of resistance, it is an act of persistence, and it is an act of returning to our original home where our Truth lives and our love pervades. 🌹

🩸 May we remember the redemptive qualities of menstrual blood.

🩸 May we remember the purifying properties of menstrual blood.

🩸 May we remember the body of the female as the vessel of the original blood offering.

🩸She - through her body- offers atonement for whole communities.

🩸SHE - the one that redeems life, births life, and purifies the world of its forgetting every.single.month, is walking among us.

🩸She is your mother. Your sister. Your daughter. Your aunt. Your lover. Your child’s mother.

🩸May we remember to honor her - now. In this body and in this life.

Holding space for the territory of shadow in the cast-away corners of a female’s psyche. The corners that we swept our childhood ideas into, the corners that hold our unintegrated shame, the corners where we’ve been taught to compartmentalize our authenticity.

To change anything in our life…to truly, deeply create lasting change in our life - we must look within. And while we may not know where to start, or feel immense fear in the process of actually looking at what we’ve been taught ‘should not’ exist within us, there are maps to support a woman’s re-orientation back to herSelf. We just have to look deeper, beyond the algorithm preying on our insecurities and reinforcing expiring belief systems.

How can we remember when we’ve been programmed to forget? What does remembering look like after cultural amnesia?

So. Many. Women before us knew we would need their wisdom, knew we would need it NOW, and have been revealing their presence so we can come home again. With just a little effort, we find maps, lanterns, guideposts, cairns, lighthouses, whispers of Spirit and Soul-Truths vibrating in our sternum.

What we seek is seeking us.

Exploring the wisdom of the women before us, in essence, is remembering our own. Here are a few places to continue the journey you’ve been on since birth (just by living in a female body).

- Feminine Epistemology - What happens when a woman’s embodied experience contradicts the dominant story?
- Women’s History (through the lens of suppressed consciousness) - What could the culture not comfortably contain?
- Mythos & Archetypal Psychology - Marion Woodman, feminine embodiment and individuation.
- Mysticism & Women’s Spiritual Traditions - Not just ‘religious’ women but women who EXPERIENCED direct access to Spirit outside of institutional authority. Ie., Mary Magdalene, Teresa de Avila, etc.
- Feminist Theology - who actually interpreted and CHOSE what made it in the Bible? Whose voices disappeared?

While the women are the teachers, the maps are the structures through which we recognize our own journey. Their journey IS our journey.

Let us remember, sweet sisters. For our babies, our earth, & a future beyond our own.

It’s a prayer I carry in my heart for all sisters on this planet. 🌎
I breathe with it every day in the hopes that my out breath may be your eventual in breath - and that with one breath cycle at a time, we’ll collectively circulate these truths until we find ourselves returning to the tender and stable ground that is available right below our bare feet.

We’ve inherited a story—It was born into our fascia & bones, planted in our body’s soil, & swims in our veins.

Collectively, we’ve been trying to heal while standing on a toxic foundation. Much of the current model of healing asks us to ignore/suppress/eat away or starve away the truths only the body knows. A subtle dissociation. A disembodied approach to becoming that asks us to bypass the very ground we’re standing on. ⚕️

If we don’t consciously and intentionally unearth the structure that holds the toxic story in place, we will only perpetuate it and create new pathologies along the way.

This story has informed every crack and crevasse of our worldview. Every. Single. One. 📕

In nearly 20 years of sitting with women as a psychotherapist, it’s become abundantly clear: female suffering may wear different faces & live in different body sizes, but it traces back to the same root—diet culture and the deeper story it was built upon - 1000’s of years in the making. 📜

This is why I’m shifting how I support women. Because lasting wellness asks us to go deeper— we absolutely, irrevocably, 💯 must acknowledge the true roots of our body’s story. Back before diet culture, all the way back to the creation story. It is not blame, it is education, acknowledgment, unwinding and re-seeding from a place of pure Truth. 🌱

Individual therapy has been sacred, necessary & foundational—and it has also illuminated what’s next. A different kind of container is needed. One devoted to the full spectrum of feminine consciousness for any woman impacted by diet culture (which, btw - is every woman regardless of age, culture, religion, body size, etc).

This shift is the alchemization of 18+ years of sitting with women in their most vulnerable seasons—now woven into depth mentorship experiences that invites identity-level transformation and a return to unadulterated presence.

Unadulterated presence.
Coming home to that.In this body.
In this life.
Now.

I look forward to sharing more. Shifting a business model is no joke. 😅 But neither is waking up to the Truth of who we really are, so I guess it fits. 🫶🏽🌹🫶

2025 Transmissions: 4-7.
4.) Death teaches us how to truly live. We must embrace the beautiful reality that our time here is finite. One short breath - an inhale and an exhale. How would we show up each day if we truly embraced our mortality?
5.) Don’t avoid the grief. Let it take you. Pummel you. Completely wreck you. It is the opening. The opening to the raw and palpable richness of your Soul.
6.) God/Goddess is known through the body. Grief is the opening. Pleasure is the pathway. To FEEL the depth of grief that is a natural part of this life is to open ourselves to the richness of pleasure available to us in.this.body.
7.) Everything we love will be lost. So love DEEP, engage, authentically, and be present with the truest part of you at all times. We never know when our last breath will be on this planet. We never know when our loved ones will breathe their last breath. Embrace one another with the truest part of you. This moment is all we have.
We will not take this body or our ‘things’ with us. Root down into what truly matters. One another. 🫶🏽

Also - gotta love mixing up numbers. Too.much.editing for this 41yo brain 😆

There is no us and them.
There is no border between my heart and yours.
What can happen when we put our own story down and truly try to understand the person across a fictitious line?
Magic. Beautiful softness. Ancient and innocent memory where we all played in the same grass - together.
