Communication is a Bridge

When attack happens and separation occurs,
you can bridge it only by communicating
in a non-hostile way.

That is hard to do when you are triggered.

Usually you need to take the time
to understand and own the trigger
before you can make peace with the person
who triggered you.

You cannot help people heal
unless you are feeling love in your heart. Then what you say and do will flow through your love, not through your fear, and you will inspire, encourage and uplift.
Remember, you are here to empower others, not to fix them or to take responsibility for their pain.
So don’t force your gift on others.
Give to those who ask for your help and are ready to receive it.
Then, you will not trespass on them or exhaust your own energies.

You cannot serve others if you are attached to what you offer or how others receive it. You must get out of the way so that Spirit can work through you.
Service is an opportunity to love, not a job description. You cannot serve if you have an identity or an agenda. That just blocks the flow of energy as it moves through you.
You need to be an empty vessel and let the energy come and go as it pleases.
When you help someone else,
your help goes where it is needed.
You will never know all the people
who are touched by your loving actions, nor do you need to know.

Forgiveness Helps us Release the Past
Our relationships are easily crippled by their own past baggage. When anger and hurt are carried around, there is an undercurrent of judgment and irritation that surfaces when new challenges arise. Even little problems become major issues.
The air needs to be cleared. The burden of past misunderstandings
needs to be laid to rest. Forgiveness is not a doing so much as it is an undoing. It wipes the slate clean of resentment.
It enables us to start fresh with each other so that we don’t have to keep carrying around
the trauma of the past.
