July 4th is next Wednesday. As much fun as this holiday is, it is not always fun for our pets who are frightened by loud noises.

There are many natural and effective ways to help your pet enjoy the holiday. Here are just a few.

Aconite, which is a homeopathic remedy for panic.

Rescue Remedy, which comes in both human and pet formulas.

Your local pet store also carries calming chews that you can give to your dog.

Thunder shirts, which use compression to help calm dogs and cats.

If you don't want to buy a Thunder shirt (they can be pricey) you can do a Kimono wrap for your dog or cat.

Due to increased number of Covid 19 cases in Palm Beach County many local hospitals are postponing elective surgery. If you have a surgery scheduled check with your doctors office to make sure that it it's still on.

We know you are all tired of this but South Florida is now the epicenter of the pandemic. The best way to stop the spread is to do what we have been told to do. Shelter in place, wear a mask. Social distance. The sooner we all do this, the faster this will calm down.

Doc has posted, and I will ask him to repost, ways you can help prevent Covid, or have it be less strong.
