Aloha! 🌺 What an unforgettable final stop on our Melody SS Cruise Line! 🛳️✨

​We wrapped up our journey in sunny Hawaii with a spectacular performance by Barefoot Hawaiian, delicious tropical appetizers, and endless smiles. Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a wonderful day of celebration and community! 🍍🌴

Our residents enjoyed one of the most fun annual happenings around here, The Luau! We had 3 amazing Hula dancers along with their great MC. Our residents enjoyed not only the exciting show but an amazing array of appetizers and a Mai Tai! It was a late night but a great time was had by all!

It's about to get paw-some around here. 🐾
August 11th, Fur Keeps Animal Rescue is bringing a litter of adoptable puppies to our courtyard for an afternoon of tail-wagging fun. Our residents have already been hard at work getting ready, hand-making dog treats and toys for their new tiny guests.🐕💛

Come for the puppies, stay for the company. Bring a parent, bring a friend who's curious about our pet-friendly community, or just bring yourself and your best puppy voice. 🐶

Anchors Aweigh for Day 3 of the SS Melody Mock Cruise! 🚢🏛️

​Our Mediterranean voyage brought us straight to the iconic shores of Greece! Residents spent the day immersing themselves in rich Greek culture, starting with a classic island craft: hand-painting Santorini-inspired terracotta planters. Featuring bold cobalt blue rims, golden accents, and fragrant lavender, each planter beautifully mimicked the sun-washed charm of the Greek islands. 🎨🌿

​The journey didn't stop there—we dove into fascinating tales of Greek mythology, savored delicious homemade Greek meatballs, and listened as many of our residents shared wonderful personal memories and stories of visiting Greece. It was a day full of connection, creativity, and incredible flavor!

Bon Voyage! 🇫🇷 Today, our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents officially set sail on our 2nd Annual SS Melody Cruise Line, and our first destination was picture-perfect Paris!
​It was an unforgettable day filled with French-inspired fun:
​French Class: A special thank you to Linda (French professor and daughter of our resident Mardell) and our resident Lily for co-teaching a wonderful French lesson!
​Taste of Paris: Wine tasting paired with delicious French hors d'oeuvres.
​Creative Expression: French-inspired arts and crafts.
​We had an absolute blast setting sail today! Next stop on our itinerary: Australia tomorrow, followed by Greece and Hawaii! 🚢✈️

We are hosting a free outdoor Summer Jazz Fest in our courtyard on Thursday, July 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and we would love to welcome you to Melody Living Lake in the Hills.

You can expect great jazz music, an outdoor setup, and plenty of good company. Whether you are dropping by with a family member or simply want to check out our neighborhood for yourself, we have a seat ready for you. 🌿✨
