Graduation Day is always bittersweet but a great reminder that Speech Therapy really makes a difference. It was a pleasure working with you and helping you find your voice. And…we love forming these new friendships 🥰❤️

Again. Spark the Night.

Tomorrow is World Parkinson’s Day, a time to raise awareness, support the over 12 million people worldwide living with Parkinson’s disease, and honor the strength of individuals and families impacted by it.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological disorder that affects movement, but with greater awareness comes greater understanding, support, and progress toward better treatments and care.

On Saturday, April 11, City Hall will be lit up in blue as a symbol of solidarity and hope. By lighting up blue, Lakeland joins communities around the world in shining a light on Parkinson’s and the importance of continued research and advocacy. Together, we can help make a difference by learning more, supporting one another, and spreading awareness. 💙

Let’s Spark the Night and turn it blue for Parkinson’s Awareness. What am I talking about? Listen to Fritz’s video. He explains it so well.

Graduation Day is always bittersweet 🥲🥰I used the cycles approach to help improve this little guy’s speech. With time and hard work he is graduating today and leaving speech therapy behind. He is now able to communicate his wants and needs clearly. We will miss you 🥰 ❤️

Q.- Why do you play so much in speech theraypy?

A.- Children take in information differently when it’s woven into play. In those moments, they’re relaxed, curious, and genuinely interested. Their bodies are active, their language is flowing, and their brains are busy making decisions and connections. They learn easier not because it’s demanded, but because it happens in a way that feels natural and relevant to them.
