I too want to climb to the rooftops and shout about these topics….they are that important! Resistance training strengthens your bones, improves your mobility and longevity. Who cares how long you live if you are bed ridden and can barely get around? The goal is quality AND quantity of life as we age! It’s not about being skinny, it’s about retaining muscle mass and bone density, decreasing fall risk, dementia prevention, utilizing hormones to prevent recurrent infections that can lead to antibiotic resistance…happy to chat about this all day if you want to come see me!

Just want to put out in the universe that Summer can be hard. Social media can be misleading. Kids fight, dogs vomit, schedules can be stressful, not everyone goes on magical vacations to faraway lands, children can be out of sorts with their routines and sleep schedules being disrupted, moms can be stressed trying to juggle everything, hand foot and mouth is going around. Comparison is the thief of joy! Sometimes the best memories are made barefoot after a fun day of free play having a popsicle with your sibling sitting on the side of curb watching the world go by.
