Most people don't realize how much they're missing... until it's gone.

A little earwax doesn't usually cause a problem.

A lot of it can make the world sound quieter than it really is.

This is a professional cerumen (earwax) removal, one of the simplest procedures we perform, yet one that can make an immediate difference for the right patient.

If your ears feel plugged, voices sound muffled, or your hearing suddenly isn't what it used to be, don't assume it's "just getting older." Sometimes the solution is much simpler.

And one more thing...

Please don't use cotton swabs. They usually push wax deeper, making the problem worse.

School may be just around the corner, but today was all about helping our community start the year strong. 📚💙

Our Outreach Manager, Mercedes, and Dr. Tonya LaLonde enjoyed representing Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center at the Polk County Sheriff's Charities Back to School Event, connecting with local families, sharing hearing health resources, and offering free hearing screenings.

Every conversation is an opportunity to make a difference, and we're grateful to partner with organizations that invest in the well-being of our community.

No filters. No fancy edits. Just a real moment of gratitude for someone who has meant so much to our Center.

For years, Bruce Abels served as a dedicated board member, loyal supporter and true friend of Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center. We recently had the honor of gathering together to celebrate Bruce and thank him for the many ways he has supported our mission and the people we serve.

As a small symbol of our appreciation, we presented him with a framed photograph of a locomotive, a gift chosen especially for him.

Bruce, thank you for your leadership, your generosity and the lasting impact you have made on our Center. Your support has helped move our mission forward, and we are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the CFSHC family. 💚
