🇺🇸 We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget.
Today, our Lake Morton Senior Living community gathered together in remembrance of September 11, 2001. We honored the lives that were tragically cut short, the families forever impacted, and the first responders, volunteers, and search and rescue teams who worked tirelessly in the days and weeks that followed.
Together, we recited the Pledge of Allegiance and observed a moment of silence. Our resident choir shared several patriotic songs, accompanied beautifully on the piano by our very own, Ida.

Perhaps the most meaningful part of our gathering was hearing the stories shared among our community—including powerful firsthand experiences from Justin who served on search and rescue efforts following the attacks.
Today was a reminder of the courage, compassion, unity, and resilience shown during one of our nation’s darkest moments.
We remember those we lost. We honor those who served. And we will never forget. 🇺🇸
