Thank you to Commissioner Guy LaLonde and all organizers for bringing the community together around such an important topic.

Hoy tuve el verdadero honor de representar a All in One Pharmacy como panelista durante la Hurricane Preparedness Expo en el RP Funding Center en Lakeland.

También quiero extender un agradecimiento especial al Comisionado de la Ciudad Guy Lalonde y a Omar Arroyo por su apoyo y dedicación a nuestra comunidad y a los eventos que ayudan a mantener a los residentes de Lakeland informados, preparados y conectados.

Tuve la oportunidad de hablar sobre la preparación para huracanes desde una perspectiva farmacéutica y de salud — incluyendo cómo la preparación, la educación, la comunicación, la organización de medicamentos y la continuidad del cuidado son esenciales durante emergencias y desastres naturales.

Como farmacéuticos, llevamos una enorme responsabilidad porque los pacientes dependen de nosotros durante algunos de los momentos más difíciles de sus vidas. En All in One Pharmacy, estamos comprometidos a estar preparados logística, operativa y educativamente para continuar apoyando a nuestra comunidad cuando más importa.

Today, I was truly honored to represent All in One Pharmacy as a panel speaker during the Hurricane Preparedness Expo at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.

I also want to extend a special thank you to Guy Lalonde, City Commissioner, and Omar Arroyo for their support and dedication to our community and events that help keep Lakeland residents informed, prepared, and connected.

I had the opportunity to speak about hurricane preparedness from a pharmacy and healthcare perspective — including how preparation, education, communication, medication organization, and continuity of care are essential during emergencies and natural disasters.

As pharmacists, we carry a tremendous responsibility because patients depend on us during some of the most difficult moments in their lives. At All in One Pharmacy, we are committed to being prepared logistically, operationally, and educationally to continue supporting our community when it matters most.

A very special thank you to Allison Bates with Age-Friendly Lakeland and Kari Gomez with Home Instead for the invitation, support, and for helping organize such an important community event.

Thank you as well to all the organizers, panel members, emergency management teams, community leaders, vendors, and every attendee who visited our booth and took the time to speak with us today.

It was wonderful meeting so many members of our Lakeland community and discussing medication safety, emergency preparedness, caregiver support, medication packaging, and pharmacy services available to help patients stay safe and prepared during hurricane season.
