We love finding community resources that can help the women we serve beyond the walls of AWC. Today we attended the ribbon cutting for Polk County Women Mean Business.

Their mission centers around women supporting women—building relationships, sharing resources, growing businesses, and creating a community where women can pursue their goals together. 💗
We were especially excited to learn more about The Confidence Closet, a community initiative that provides professional clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories and other resources to help women feel confident as they step into interviews, the workforce, or their next season of life.

Today, we pause to remember the lives that were lost on 9/11 and the families whose lives were changed forever.

We remember the heroes who ran toward danger while others were running away. We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage.

And we remember that in the midst of tragedy, our nation came together.

May we never forget the lives lost, the sacrifices made, and the courage displayed that day.

🙏 God bless those who were lost, comfort those who still grieve, and bless the United States of America.

We are so incredibly grateful for who donated 36 hand-crocheted baby blankets and 40 hand-crocheted baby hats to our ministry!

Each one was made with love and will be given to moms and babies we have the privilege of serving. What a beautiful way to remind our clients that they are loved, supported, and never alone.

These precious handmade gifts are more than just blankets and hats—they are a tangible blessing and a little extra encouragement during an important season of life.

Today we got to host a table at Polk State for their Welcome Back Event. We met with over 100 students and shared with them about our services and support. We also had a spinner with questions to ask and discuss with them about pregnancy, STIs, and abortion. Please pray that we would be a resource and a safe place for them if they are faced with an unplanned pregnancy.
