Our goal is making independent living a reality for many people and to achieve the highest quality of life for both the user and caregiver. Lift & Care Systems cater to residential homes, semi-professional homes (group homes, day programs) and professional (nursing homes, hospitals, and schools) institutions. Established in 1993 Lift & Care Systems is located in southeastern Massachusetts in the quaint town of Lakeville. We are the exclusive distributors of the SUREHANDS patient lift systems in three states:

◾Connecticut

In 1993, Dave Austin, established what is now Lift & Care Systems, Inc. as a privately owned and operated business to distribute the famous Handi-Move International product line of patient lift systems (known as SUREHANDS). We have expanded our product line to include National Ramp Systems and a broad array of stairlifts for in home use. Physical and Emotional Benefits

Our users and caregivers teach us about many levels and degrees of self-determined quality of life. We learn more about life than our clients will ever realize. Because of this, we come to our users and caregivers with a level of compassion that does not allow for overselling; a unique quality among durable medical supply companies. We offer the patented SUREHANDS lift systems as well as all of our products to both private and professional markets. We maintain one single goal:

Bring the highest quality of life to the user and their caregivers. In many cases, we can actually reduce the number of assistants and caregivers for users. This alleviates financial burdens for users and institutions, minimizes and eliminates physical discomfort among many caregivers as well as enhances quality of life and instills confidence in users.

PLEASE SHARE. 🤚💙🖐️Although we have a new main feeder taking care of about half the schedule monthly, we need one more pair of horsey hands to complete our special team at Flying Free Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc.! We have some big deficits on the weekends, and we still need a few shifts covered during the week.
It's an opportunity to be a part of something special while making a little money and caring for our small herd of 4 therapy unicorns.

September 13, 2026 marked four years as a 501(c)(3) for Flying Free Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc.
The first year and three months were spent scrambling, fundraising, and looking for a farm to rent space while keeping the horses in three temporary locations.
💪🐴 We are so proud of this organization and how far we have come against all odds. It's very rare for a nonprofit that started the way we did to be able to launch and accomplish its mission. Many people discouraged it and said we needed to wait, but we knew we would miss our opportunity. It was scary, but we pushed through, and here we are!
We pray for many more years ahead of helping children and adults with special needs reach their highest potential through our amazing ponies, horses, volunteers, and staff. 💙
