Youth baseball training should change with the season.
The biggest mistake we see is treating July like January: high throwing volume, tournament weekends, and then more high-intent work layered on top. That is how young athletes drift from training hard into under-recovering.
A smarter plan builds strength and power in the off-season, ramps throwing in pre-season, and maintains tissue capacity during the season. Arm care is whole-body care: hips, trunk, deceleration, and workload all matter.
