Dr. Christopher Levine is a veterinary neurologist and neurosurgeon who founded Levine Veterinary Neurology 2017.

Levine has completed a three-year neurology residency at the Veterinary Neurological Center in Phoenix, Ariz., and an internship in small animal internal medicine and surgery at the Oklahoma State University Center. He is a neurology diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Levine’s primary interests include intracranial surgery, advanced MRI techniques, spinal cord blood flow, lysosomal storage diseases, lower motor neuron diseases, and abiotrophies.

🎮 LVN Tech Week: Pokémon Edition! 🎮

Our team traded in their scrubs for a little Pokémon magic today! From Eevee and Umbreon to Pikachu, to Gengar and a few other wild Pokémon sightings, our hospital was full of spirit, smiles, and some seriously adorable patients! 🐾💛

And because even Pokémon Trainers need to refuel after a long day of catching ’em all, we enjoyed an Olive Garden feast! 🍝🥖 Nothing says teamwork quite like pasta, breadsticks, and a little friendly competition!

We may specialize in veterinary neurology, but today we were all about choosing our Pokémon, showing off our evolutions, and celebrating the incredible team that makes LVN so special!

Our team? Definitely a rare find. 💛

🪩✌️ GROOVY BABY! We’re kicking off Vet Tech Appreciation Week in style! 🎃🐾

It’s TIME TRAVEL TUESDAY at Levine Veterinary Neurology, and our crew showed up ready to take a trip through the decades! From flower power and disco fever to Viking warriors and iconic throwback fashion, we’ve got a little bit of everything! 😂

And the fun doesn’t stop at the costumes!

🥗 Lunch was catered by Fresh Kitchen!

🥤 Our very own Dirty Soda Bar is keeping everyone fueled with some delicious creations!

🔎 There’s a MYSTERY at LVN! Our team is putting their detective skills to the test with an interactive game of CLUE, complete with suspects, secrets, and prizes!

We work hard around here, and sometimes we forget to slow down and celebrate the incredible people who make it all happen. This week is dedicated to the technicians, assistants, and support staff who pour their hearts into caring for our patients every single day (and night!). ❤️

We couldn’t do what we do without this crew, and they deserve every bit of the celebration!

We would be nothing without our team. ❤️🐾

The early mornings. The late nights. Leaving their own homes and families in the middle of the night to help a pet in need. The heart, skill, and dedication they bring to this clinic every single day—we don’t take any of it for granted. Not for a minute.

Every veterinary team deserves recognition, but ours? They go above and beyond in ways most people never get to see, and it does not go unnoticed. If you’ve trusted us with your pet’s care, you’ve had the honor of working with some truly incredible people.

We can say this wholeheartedly: LVN is nothing without them. We are so proud of this team and grateful for everything they do for our patients, our clients, and each other.

We’ll be formally celebrating next week, but we couldn’t let this week pass without saying HAPPY TECH WEEK to Charlie, Mariana, Josh, Cecilia, Olivia, Megan, Makayla, Nadia, Haley, Shy, Carisa, Tyler, and Xander! 💙

With those giant ears, beautiful blue eyes, and a tongue that refuses to stay inside his mouth, he may be one of the cutest little potatoes we’ve ever seen!

Say hello to Gidget! 💗

Gidget came to us one Saturday morning unable to stand or walk on her own. An MRI revealed significant inflammation throughout her spinal cord that extended into her brain, leading to a diagnosis of meningoencephalomyelitis.

Meningoencephalomyelitis is inflammation involving the brain, spinal cord, and their surrounding protective tissues. In many dogs and cats, no specific underlying cause can be identified, and the immune system is believed to be driving the inflammation.

Thankfully, this condition can often be managed with medications that suppress the immune system. Gidget is currently receiving Cytosar injections along with other immunosuppressive medications to control the inflammation and support her recovery.

After just two rounds of treatment, Gidget is back on her feet and walking again! She is like a whole new dog, and we couldn’t be happier with how wonderfully she is responding. 🐾

We now get to see Gidget every three weeks for her treatments, and it is always such a joy. Watching her regain her strength has been incredibly rewarding, and we are so proud of this sweet girl! 💕
