Every Mind Matters Therapy

Every Mind Matters Therapy Take care of your psychological well-being with our affordable health services. I was born in Miami, FL, and was raised in beautiful Boulder CO.

I moved to Durango, CO for undergraduate studies at Fort Lewis College. I majored in Psychology and got my undergraduate degree in General Psychology in 2017. With the combination of psychology and past experiences, I can provide a strong foundation for my unique approach to counseling. After my undergrad, I worked for Applied Behavioral Analysis companies as a Behavioral Therapist helping childre

n with Autism. I then returned to school to get my Masters's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. It was during this program, I learned of Mindfulness Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy and so much more. These focuses have served as yet another foundational piece by which I work and live. During my studies at Adams State University, I also worked at Denver Affordable Counseling, which further expanded my knowledge and experience in the realm of mental health. I completed my internship providing individual therapy and child therapy much like the services I provide today. Finally, I graduated with honors in May 2022 and have been providing individual therapy since in both private practice and agency settings. In my free time, I love being outdoors and exploring the beautiful mountains in Colorado.

We all have days when nothing feels right when the weight of the world feels just a little too heavy, and it feels like nothing will ever get better. If today is one of those days for you, I want you to hear this: it’s okay. You don’t have to be okay all the time, and it’s perfectly fine to feel overwhelmed, sad, or frustrated.

But even on the hardest days, it’s important to remember that things can get better. Healing takes time, and just because today feels like a struggle doesn’t mean tomorrow will be the same. Sometimes, the hardest step is allowing yourself to feel what you're feeling without judgment—and in those moments, self-care becomes an act of compassion.

Remind yourself:
Reach Out for Support
Be Gentle with Yourself
Remember, It's Temporary
Give Yourself Permission to Rest

Today may feel heavy, but with patience, love, and the support of those around you, the clouds will start to part. You can get through this. And, slowly, it will get better.

Sending love and strength today and always.
