🌟 Resource Spotlight: Handprints Therapies & Handprints Academy
This week, we’re highlighting two connected Colorado resources supporting children through collaborative therapy and specialized education.
We recently had the opportunity to tour their Lakewood facility and meet several some of their team. The people we met were incredibly welcoming, and both the team and the facility are truly awesome! We’re excited to share more about the work they’re doing for children and families.
Handprints Therapies offers pediatric services that include:
💜 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
🗣️ Speech therapy
🧩 Occupational therapy
🏃 Physical therapy
🍽️ Feeding therapy
🌱 Early intervention
🚽 ABA toilet-training support
🎒 School-readiness programming
Handprints uses an interdisciplinary model that brings therapists from different specialties together to support each child’s individual communication, behavioral, sensory, motor, and developmental needs. Handprints Therapies has locations in Lakewood and Greenwood Village.
Handprints Academy is a Colorado Department of Education-approved specialized facility school located in Lakewood. The Academy currently serves students ages 5–11 in kindergarten through fifth grade whose educational and behavioral support needs extend beyond what a traditional school setting can provide.
Its program combines individualized academics with behavioral and therapeutic support. Students are supported by a team that includes licensed special education teachers, instructional assistants, BCBAs, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.
Families can learn more about Handprints Therapies and Handprints Academy at handprintstherapies.com or by calling 720-962-4555.
Availability, eligibility, insurance participation, and service location may vary, so families should contact Handprints directly for current information.
We’re grateful for organizations like Handprints that are working to help children thrive in ways that honor who they are. 💜🧡
