Trader Joe's may be my favorite place ever to shop .... for groceries, not skin care.

I have learned over 15 years that just because a box lists quality ingredients, does not mean the overall product offers a high quality.

When choosing a vitamin C serum, we are looking for purity of the ingredients, potency of said ingredients and effective pH of the final product, and none of these things can be seen by reading the box.

Hence why some skin care companies will perform extensive studies, and part of what you pay for when choosing CE Ferulic or any other SkinCeuticals product is the continued study and improvement of the product.

Any other vitamin C serums we should test??

Vitamin C serum is an important part of your skin care routine for a healthy skin barrier as well as environmental support, collagen support, texture and pigment maintenance. It's a powerhouse of all the things we look for to support our skin.

As a practitioner, I cannot and will not perform some laser treatments on skins that are not properly maintained with an antioxidant serum, such as the CE Ferulic.

CE Ferulic is the cornerstone product of the SkinCeuticals lineup, and it has been a staple in many of our routines for FOUR decades. I watch skin transform with proper and consistent use of this serum. There are very few products I can consistently see working on client's skin, and this is the one I have seen affect changes time and again. I have used vitamin C serums from a handful of product lines in the past, and I have never seen shifts in the skin like I see with this vitamin C serum.

These new formulation changes enhance the previous vitamin C formula, and one thing I can rely on is that SkinCeuticals only makes changes when they show a significant benefit to the skin, so be prepared to fall in love again 🌿
