Have you heard of our Anchors of Wellness?

It’s a simple, practical tool that helps you notice how you’re doing and stay connected to the things that help you thrive—not only when you’re struggling, but in every season of life.

Use it each day to anchor yourself in the things that help you thrive. And at the end of each week, celebrate one anchor where you felt strong and identify one you'd like to strengthen in the week ahead.

We're honored to join leaders around the world in empowering the church to walk alongside those struggling with mental health. This year, our Executive Director Kimberly Britt will co-present with Bishop Michael Mutale, our dear friend and ministry partner in Zambia. This global movement is equipping us with tools, perspective, and hope. Join us! https://www.hopemadestrong.org/a/2148266118/JPYbwsmo

Today is —a reminder that no one should have to struggle alone.

At Anchor International, we believe God created us for connection and community. When someone is hurting, the presence of a compassionate person who is willing to listen, stay, and walk alongside them can be a powerful reminder that there is still hope.

If you or someone you love is feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or in crisis, call or text 988 to connect with the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Support is available 24/7.

And to our churches: may we continue becoming prepared places where people can bring their struggles into the light and find compassion, belonging, and hope in Christ.

This month, we had the privilege of connecting live with about 15 pastors and ministry leaders in Zambia for a powerful conversation about mental health ministry in the Church. 🇿🇲

The conversation focused on the growing mental health challenges facing communities in Zambia, where nearly 1 in 5 adults struggle with mental health concerns, while access to professional care remains extremely limited.

Because over 90% of Zambians identify as Christian, the Church is uniquely positioned to bring support, healing, community, and biblical encouragement to those who are struggling.

We were deeply encouraged by Pastor Michael, who has already helped implement Anchor programs across 150 denominations in Zambia. His leadership and heart for pastors and families are opening doors for life-changing ministry.

Please pray for Pastor Michael, the pastors who attended, and the continued growth of mental health support ministries throughout Zambia. 🇿🇲❤️

The faith of our brother Dr. Lamar Hardwick, has become sight.

“We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14 (CSB)

Please join us in praying for Lamar’s wife, children, family, and friends as they walk through this profound loss.

One of the many things Lamar reminded us during his final sermon at the Disability & the Church Conference was:

“When life isn’t going the way you expected, look for where God is still at work — especially among those society sidelines.”

Today we grieve. But we do not grieve without hope. Because of Christ, death does not have the final word.

The Savior, Christ Jesus our Lord, whom Lamar faithfully proclaimed throughout his life and ministry, has now welcomed him home:

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)

Until that day when faith becomes sight for all who belong to Christ.
