Please meet Luz Gonzalez- Miller, an associate degree Nursing graduate from the 2022 class!  
 
Luz is currently working as an Aesthetic Nurse and involved in healthcare and business operations.    She obtained her RN licensure and went on to attend the Denver College of Nursing for her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.    Luz is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing/ Family Nurse Practitioner at Cleveland State University, along with advanced training and certifications in aesthetic nursing and cosmetic procedures.      
 
“Fortis provided the foundation for my nursing career and gave me the confidence to grow professionally in both patient care and leadership roles. I’m grateful for the opportunities my education created and proud to continue advancing my career in nursing.”
 
Luz offers this advice to current students following in her footsteps… “Stay focused, ask questions, and never be afraid to learn from every experience. Nursing school can be challenging, but consistency and determination will help you succeed. Build strong relationships with your instructors and classmates because teamwork is essential in healthcare. Always continue learning and investing in your education; there are so many opportunities in nursing.”
