Having been let go of a job in printing he joined his desire to help people with his love of sports to become a Sports Rehabilitation Therapist. Tom graduated Magna Cum Laude and was president of the Student Ambassador group. ong Lakewood resident and graduate of Lakewood High School in 1990, he partnered with Dr. Erica Mireles in September of 2011 wanting to give back to the community he loves. The Pandemic wad tough on us as it was everyone and Doc moved her practice in 2022 opening the door to see select clients in a cozy atmosphere closer to home. Tom is a deep tissue specialist and sports injury/training therapist. He uses a less invasive technique called positional release, all of the relief of deep tissue without the lingering soreness for a quicker recovery. It works wonderfully with muscles all over the body and with the shorter recovery time you can return to what you love to do even sooner. While still attending school, he worked two internships. His first internship was with the athletic training department at Cal State University Dominguez Hills and the next with the Serra High School track teams.
