We asked one of our staff members:
“What would you do if someone dropped an orphan on your doorstep?”

Her response:
“Slit their throat.” 💀

…before everyone calls HR… 😂

The actual question was:
“What would you do if you had a knife and someone broke into your house?” 🔪🏠

P.S. No staff were fired, and she’s actually one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet—we promise. ❤️😂

Rebecca’s House Sober Living is accepting applications for our women’s sober living program in Victorian Village, near Downtown Columbus.

Our goal is more than providing a place to stay. We provide a safe, sober, structured environment built around accountability, support, and 12-Step recovery—giving women a solid foundation to rebuild their lives.

Conveniently located on the bus line, close to employment opportunities, Downtown Columbus, and major interstates.

What Rebecca’s House offers: safe and sober housing, strong accountability, 12-Step-based recovery, supportive community, convenient access to work and transportation, and an environment focused on building independence and long-term recovery.

Beds available beginning August 1st.

Not everyone who needs detox should have to leave home.

For years, people have believed there were only two options: stay sick or leave everything behind to go to inpatient detox.

But that's not true anymore.

✨ Hope 4 2Morrow is proud to introduce Ambulatory Withdrawal Management (Ambulatory Detox).

Not every person needs inpatient detox. Many people can safely begin recovery with medical oversight while continuing to live at home—or, if they need more support, transition into one of our recovery homes.

We provide same-day assessments, medication-assisted treatment when appropriate, withdrawal management, and a seamless transition into continued care including PHP, IOP, outpatient services, recovery housing, peer support, and mental health treatment—all under one organization.

We currently provide withdrawal management support for:

Do you have a passion for helping animals and the people who love them? Come join the Fairfield Area Humane Society's Wellness Clinic!

We're a low-cost, high-compassion veterinary clinic dedicated to making quality veterinary care accessible to our community. We're looking for compassionate, dependable Veterinary Assistants and Veterinary Technicians to join our fun, hardworking team.

What You'll Do:
• Assist with appointments for dogs and cats
• Support surgery prep, recovery, and anesthesia monitoring (based on experience and credentials)
• Run lab tests and diagnostics
• Assist with technician appointments and patient care
• Educate pet parents and help them feel confident and supported
• Keep things running smoothly during clinic and surgery hours

About the Job:
• Monday–Friday schedule – No weekends
• No on-call or after-hours emergencies
• Veterinary Assistants: Starting at $16/hour, based on experience
• Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs): Starting at $18/hour, based on experience
• Staff discounts, PTO, and health insurance available
• A team that genuinely loves animals—and loves working together

What We're Looking For:
• Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician experience preferred
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in the state of Ohio is a plus
• Experience working with cats and dogs
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Bonus points for being able to comfort a nervous pup and handle a spicy cat with grace
