Not only is the month of June Pride Month,🌈 it is also known as Cancer from the Sun Month. ☀️

With the beginning of the summer months, many people are spending more time outside. With this increased time in the sun, it is important to practice healthy sun habits to decrease the chance of you or your loved ones developing skin cancer. When in the sun, it's important to use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or above, wear protective clothing, spend time in the shade, and to regularly examine your skin for abnormalities.

Dermatology Associates of Lancaster is thrilled to welcome Dr. Alyssa Klein to our dedicated team of healthcare providers. Board-certified in dermatology, Dr. Klein brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to patient-centered care in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Born and raised in York, Pennsylvania, Dr. Klein went to Penn State University for undergraduate studies. She received her MD degree from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA before going to the Johns Hopkins Hospital for her dermatology residency. She currently resides in Lititz with her husband, two boys, and a golden retriever.
