I know, AI prompts are “bad” but I just kind of love this a lot! And also, how crazy that it “got me” so well 😵‍💫 😍🥰

🚫It did think I was a coffee drinker and I am not in the slightest.
🤷🏻‍♀️ It assumed I was a PT but im an OT (close enough)
😎 It understands my love of sunshine, pelvic health and learning
🤔 How did it know I am fluent in sarcasm?!
🌮 Or that I love tacos 🤣

Pelvic floor therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and respectful of your comfort level 🤍

That means:
✨ Explaining everything before we do it
✨ Moving at your pace
✨ Modifying treatment when needed
✨ Creating a space where questions are always welcome
✨ Remembering that you are in control of your care

There is no “one right way” to do pelvic floor therapy. The goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and comfortable throughout the process. 🤍

Myth: Only older women have prolapse.

Truth: Pelvic Organ Prolapse can affect women at any age or stage of life. Pregnancy, childbirth, high-impact exercise, chronic straining, and connective tissue differences can all contribute—sometimes even in your 20s or 30s.

The good news? Prolapse doesn’t mean you have to stop moving or accept symptoms as “normal.” With the right support, strength, and movement strategies, many women can significantly improve symptoms and return to the activities they love.

✨ If you feel heaviness, pressure, or a bulge, it’s worth getting evaluated. You’re not alone—and there are solutions.

If you’re only doing Kegels, you’re missing the bigger picture.
Prolapse improves with:

✨ Breath + pressure management
✨ Core coordination (not just clenching)
✨ Hip + glute strength
✨ Real-life movement strategies

Sometimes too many Kegels can actually increase downward pressure.

You don’t need to squeeze harder.
You need a system that works together. 💛

If your workout makes you leak, the answer isn’t to quit.

It’s:
• Build strength
• Improve coordination
• Adjust load + breath
• Train the system — not avoid it

Avoidance is not rehab.
Proper support and technique > sitting it out.

Myth: Pelvic floor therapy is just for postpartum moms.

Truth: Your pelvic floor doesn’t check your motherhood status before needing support. 👏

Teens with painful periods.
Athletes leaking during lifts or runs.
Women navigating intimacy changes.
Perimenopause + menopause shifts.
Postpartum moms.
Women who’ve never had kids.

If you have a pelvis, you have a pelvic floor — and it deserves care at every age and stage.

Pain, leaking, pressure, urgency, discomfort with s*x… none of it is “just part of being a woman.” It’s a signal. And it’s treatable.

Pelvic floor therapy isn’t a life phase. It’s healthcare. 💛

Self-care isn’t selfish. It’s foundational. ❤️

This Valentine’s Day, let’s redefine love.
Not just flowers. Not just date night.
But tending to the parts of you that carry so much — including your pelvic floor.

Because leaking isn’t “just part of being a mom.”
Pain with intimacy isn’t something you have to push through.
Feeling disconnected from your body isn’t your forever.

Loving yourself means listening to your body.
And getting support when it whispers (or screams).

Your pelvic health matters.
Your pleasure matters.
You matter. 💗

💕Valentine’s Day week post #2!

🚫 If intimacy feels uncomfortable, rushed, numb, or painful—your body isn’t broken.

It’s communicating. And pelvic floor therapy can help you listen + respond. ❤️

💕With Valentines Day being at the end of this week, I thought I’d dive into some facts and lessons about intimacy

🚫Painful s*x is NOT a rite of passage.🚫

🏳️It’s your body asking for help—and help exists.

✅Normalize getting support, not suffering in silence.

🚩And if you’re being told it’s normal or just drink a glass of w**e, find a new provider who actually understands!
