🎸🥤 A Sweet Afternoon of Music and Memories 🥤🎸

Residents enjoyed a special treat today as they gathered for root beer floats and live music from 16-year-old volunteer Becca. Taking center stage with her guitar, Becca filled the room with songs, smiles, and plenty of toe-tapping fun.

Moments like these bring generations together and create lasting memories for everyone involved. Thank you, Becca, for sharing your talent and brightening our residents’ day! ❤️

One of the highlights of the day was having Mary’s surgeon join the celebration. Their presence was a meaningful reminder of the care, teamwork, and determination that have helped Mary on her rehabilitation journey.

Thank you for inspiring us all with your grace, perseverance, and joyful spirit Mary! It is such a blessing to celebrate you! 🎈✨

Happy 102nd Birthday, Mary! 🎉🎂

Today we celebrated a truly remarkable milestone as Mary turned 102 years young! Surrounded by friends, family, and plenty of love, she enjoyed a wonderful birthday party filled with smiles, laughter, and cherished memories.

Mary is currently with us for rehabilitation and continues to inspire everyone around her with her determination and positive spirit. She is working hard every day toward her goal of returning home, and we couldn’t be prouder of her progress.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Mary’s special day so memorable. Please join us in wishing her a very happy 102nd birthday and continued success on her rehabilitation journey! ❤️

🌿 Growing Strength, One Plant at a Time! 🌿

At Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation, therapy isn’t limited to the gym. Our residents in Occupational Therapy are practicing important Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) through meaningful tasks such as caring for plants.

Whether watering plants from wheelchair level or while standing, residents are working on skills that support greater independence, including balance, coordination, strength, endurance, reaching, and functional mobility. Most importantly, they’re participating in an activity that is both purposeful and enjoyable.

These everyday tasks help build confidence while nurturing something beautiful along the way. 🌱💚

We’re proud of the hard work our residents put into their therapy goals and love seeing them grow right alongside our plants!

What an incredible week closing out National Nursing Home Week! ❤️

From costumes and themed fun to nonstop laughs, smiles, and memories made together — this week truly reminded us how special our residents, staff, families, and community partners are.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this week so amazing! Special thanks to The Fun Bus for providing a delicious meal for our staff, to our wonderful staff and facility vendors who brought in so many special treats throughout the week. We also loved having Kona Ice stop by for a sweet treat and Tom’s Coffee keep everyone fueled and smiling! ☕🍧

It takes a special kind of people to make healthcare feel like family, and this week was the perfect example of that. Thank you to everyone who helped make National Nursing Home Week such a success! 💙

This week is all about fun themes, laughter, celebration, and recognizing the incredible people who make our community feel like home every single day. From caregiving and therapy to dietary, housekeeping, activities, maintenance, nursing, and beyond — it truly takes superheroes to work in healthcare.

Our residents had an egg-cellent time coloring Easter eggs during therapy today! 🥚🎨 From bright colors to big smiles, this activity kept everyone engaged while working on important skills.

The Valentine’s Day party at Buckeye Care and Rehab was filled with so much love, laughter, and sweet treats today! ❤️ Residents enjoyed music, festive decorations, delicious food, and the best company as we celebrated together.

A very special thank you to Family Dollar for generously donating beautiful balloons for all of our residents!🎈

We’d also like to thank Nick’s Pizza for providing discounted pizza so everyone could enjoy a tasty Valentine’s snack. 🍕

We are so grateful for the support from our community that helps make days like this extra special for our residents. Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at Buckeye Care and Rehab! 💕
