At Rise Up Recovery, we're proud to have passionate team members who make a difference every day. Today, we're highlighting Angel, our Operations Supervisor!
💙 What does recovery mean to you?
"Recovery is someone finding their way back to themselves. It's about slowly taking back pieces of their life and remembering who they are beneath the pain and the struggle. It's choosing, day by day, to care for themselves in ways they may not have before. When I think of recovery, I think of freedom—the kind that allows a person to rediscover their strength, their worth, and the parts of themselves that have always been worthy of love."
💙 What is your favorite part of working in recovery?
"My favorite part is being able to remind people that they are worth the effort. It's standing beside them as they begin to see their own value again, especially on the days they can't see it themselves. There's something incredibly meaningful about offering steady support and reassurance and watching someone slowly believe that they deserve healing, patience, and a life that feels whole."
