“People ask, ‘Who’d bring kids into a world like this?’ I get it. But look back: In 1974, a 52-year-old had already lived through the Depression, world war, nuclear dread, unrest, oil lines, hard things. And still they loved, built families, made art, organized, healed. Every generation faces its fire. Hope isn’t naive; it’s how we plant the future in stubborn soil. We come from survivors and dreamers. So are our kids.
Hope isn’t pretending everything’s fine. It’s choosing to plant something anyway.
That’s why I hold space through massage craniosacral therapy, Reiki, and breathwork- to give worn-down hearts and tired nervous systems a calm place to remember that light still exists.
