Our Therapy Department Snack Shack is officially open for business! Residents have been shopping for their favorite goodies while practicing walking, wheelchair mobility, standing tolerance, reaching, money management, decision-making, and so much more.

The smiles say it all—therapy is at its best when it feels less like work and more like life. We love seeing our residents build confidence, independence, and maybe even leave with a favorite snack or two! ❤️

Today was a Hawaiian 🌺 cookout! Despite the cloudy and rainy 🌧️ weather it didn’t stop the residents and staff from having a blast outdoors! Music, laughter, the wonderful smell of burgers on the grill, and lots of food! 🍔🌭🥤

🌼 A heartfelt thank you to Tammy from Toad on the Road Greenhouse for her generous donation of beautiful flowers for our Therapy Department’s Mid-Summer Planting Group!

Because of your kindness, our residents were able to spend time getting their hands in the dirt, planting colorful flowers, and enjoying the many benefits of gardening.

Planting activities are more than just fun! They help our residents work toward important therapy goals, including improving cognition, fine motor coordination, standing tolerance, gross motor skills, and social engagement.

Thank you, Tammy, for helping us create such a joyful experience for our residents! 🌸🪴💚
