This weekend was beautiful! I had the pleasure of working with so many dogs and horses both with preventative/wellness care and working through chronic pain or injuries.

It’s always rewarding to hear feedback from owners that their pets are moving and feeling better after being adjusted.

Paula shared with me, “Oh my! Bus felt so good last night. He raced back and forth in the field! Never saw him do that before! Thank you!!”

Flexion distraction is one of the most effective ways to treat disc related lower back pain without surgery or traditional side posture manipulation.

The table gently stretches and decompresses the spine while flexing it in a controlled, rhythmic motion. This creates space between the vertebrae, takes pressure off the discs & nerves, and helps restore proper movement in the lower back.

Flexion distraction is especially useful for conditions such as disc bulges, herniations, and sciatica.

Six years ago, we opened our doors with a few things in mind: bring down-to-earth, personable, and affordable corrective chiropractic care to Vilas County while continuing to improve what we can offer our community. Because of your support, we’re continuing to grow.

This August we’re excited to be adding the Flexion Distraction technique to our office tool-belt along with a new specialized table designed to better help patients dealing with:
• Disc herniations
• Sciatica and radicular pain
• Spinal stenosis
• Nerve entrapments
• Chronic low back and neck pain

Flexion Distraction is different from traditional “twisting and popping” styles of care. Using a specialized table, the technique gently decompresses and mobilizes the spine in a controlled and comfortable way to help reduce pressure on discs, nerves, and irritated joints. Many patients seek out this type of care as a conservative option before considering more invasive procedures or surgery.

The reality is that small-town healthcare matters. We believe people in our area deserve access to advanced treatment options without having to drive hours away. Every investment we make into the office is really an investment back into the community and the people who trust us with their care.

We’re incredibly grateful to be entering year 6 serving Land O’ Lakes and we’re just getting started.
