When 21-year-old Victor arrived at AdventHealth Connerton after a motor vehicle accident, he was unable to track movement, engage with others or make purposeful movements. His future was uncertain.
Day by day, Victor began making remarkable progress. With the support of our brain injury rehabilitation team, he started talking, breathing on his own, following directions, and feeding himself independently.
While his injuries changed his path, they did not define what comes next.
Today, Victor is continuing his recovery at a world-renowned neuro rehabilitation center in Chicago, an important milestone made possible through his determination, the unwavering support of his family, and the compassionate care of his team at AdventHealth Connerton.
As Victor’s mom shared, “My heart will be forever grateful for what you have done.”
