Angels Senior Living a@ Connerton, we celebrated the holiday with a wonderful cookout filled with delicious food, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Our residents enjoyed juicy cheeseburgers, creamy mac and cheese, baked beans, a refreshing fruit bowl, and a slice of cheesecake for dessert.

As the evening came to a close, we gathered to watch the fireworks light up the sky. Seeing the smiles on our residents' faces and hearing their laughter reminded us why we do what we do.

Also a HUGE thank you to our incredible staff and dedicated volunteers who worked together to make this day so special. Your hard work, teamwork, and compassion pulled everything together flawlessly. From preparing the meal to ensuring everyone was safe, comfortable, and able to enjoy every moment, your efforts did not go unnoticed.

We're not just here to care for our residents—they become our family. Creating moments of joy, celebrating together, and making lasting memories is what it's all about. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing our residents happy, smiling, and making memories with the people who love and care for them. ❤️🤍💙🎆

On Sunday, we celebrated Father's Day by honoring all of the amazing fathers in our community. It was a special day filled with appreciation, laughter, and wonderful memories as residents gathered to enjoy the festivities together.
Our culinary team prepared an exceptional Father's Day meal featuring bacon-wrapped filet mignon, fully loaded baked potatoes, fresh green beans, and a delicious tomato basil goat cheese salad. To top off the celebration, residents enjoyed a decadent tiramisu dessert.
The day was filled with smiles as we recognized and celebrated the fathers who have shared their wisdom, love, and life experiences with their families and our community. We are grateful for the opportunity to make this Father's Day memorable and to honor the incredible men who have helped shape so many lives. ❤️👔🥩🍰

Thursday, our residents enjoyed a fun and interactive pizza-making activity! 🍕 Everyone had the opportunity to create their own personalized pizzas, choosing their favorite toppings and styles. Some residents crafted hearty Chicago-style pizzas, while others preferred the classic New York-style approach.
The room was filled with laughter, creativity, and wonderful conversations as residents shared memories of cooking for their families and favorite meals from years past. It was heartwarming to see everyone engaged and enjoying the experience together.
The activity was such a success that we will be adding more cooking activities to our calendar. Residents loved the hands-on experience and enjoyed reminiscing about time spent in their own kitchens. These activities provide not only a delicious treat but also meaningful opportunities to spark memories, encourage socialization, and create new experiences together. We look forward to many more culinary adventures ahead!

At Angels Senior Living @ Connerton Court, the safety and well-being of our residents remain our highest priority. Friday we conducted our quarterly fire drill and staff training to ensure our team remains prepared to respond effectively in the event of an emergency.

During the fire drill, staff practiced emergency procedures, reviewed evacuation routes, and reinforced resident safety protocols. These exercises provide valuable hands-on experience and help ensure that every team member understands their role during an emergency situation.

Regular fire drills and ongoing training are essential components of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents, families, and staff. We are proud of our team's professionalism, quick response, and dedication to providing the highest level of care and safety every day.

As we prepare to honor our residents who have proudly served in the military, we are asking for your help. If your loved one is a veteran, please bring in a 5x7 photo of them in uniform or a favorite military photo.

We would also appreciate knowing their branch of service and military rank so we can properly recognize and celebrate their service.
