Gang, check on your people! Waiting for someone to show up today, I was keeping an eye out the window on the traffic from a what must've been a doozy of a freight train. At one point when I checked, one lane of traffic was open, but one lane was still packed before one car that hadn't moved yet(not at all unusual). When I checked again a few minutes later, traffic was just driving around the one vehicle. I went out to see if I could help push the car into our lot, or offer a cold bottle of water, or anything else. And do you know what? This gentleman had fallen asleep from the sheer boredom of waiting for that train. A few taps on the window, and he was ready to get out of my sight😂 He had the air blasting, and assured me he was okay to drive. It is HOT. If he had NOT had the air on, something terrible could've happened. And folks were driving by honking and yelling, but not a one checked on this man.
