From pencils and notebooks to crayons, glue sticks, erasers and more, these bags are packed with school-day essentials—and lots of love! 🖍️📓✏️

What a day! Our first-ever ⛳ Golf Classic brought 72 golfers, enthusiastic sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and friends of Meadowood together for a day filled with great golf, camaraderie, and support for our community.

Most importantly, the event raised funds to support the Health Center Expansion, helping us move closer to creating an even stronger future for those we serve.

A special thank you to Benchmark Construction Company, Inc., our Presenting Sponsor, for stepping up to lead the way for Meadowood’s Inaugural Golf Classic. Your support helped set the tone for a wonderful event and made this first outing possible. We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to our community.

We also want to recognize our Meadowood staff and resident volunteers, whose time, energy, and enthusiasm helped make the day run smoothly from start to finish.

🇰🇷 Today, Ingrid Smith, our full-time lifeguard and pool operator, hosted a “Poolside International Café,” taking residents on a trip to Seoul, South Korea. Residents sampled local cuisine, learned about Korean culture and fun facts, and enjoyed time poolside with friends.

This week we said thank you to our incredible friends at Variety - the Children's Charity of the Delaware Valley.

For the past several years, the Mobile Café has been so much more than a coffee cart, it has been a place where residents, staff, and the amazing young adults from Variety Club connected, laughed, built friendships, and brightened one another’s days.

It’s Burger Night at the Stratton Wellness Garden with the dining team at Meadowood.

A special thanks to the food service team for all of your hardwork from food prep in the mobile kitchen to transporting food to the garden and the dining team for service with a smile.

It’s a team effort with all hands on deck during our kitchen expansion!

On Tuesday, residents brought their vocational experience, creativity, problem-solving skills and curiosity to the table, working together to design a wonderfully complex machine.

The Rube Goldberg Challenge was led by Donna Birdsell, Wellness Program Coordinator and head of the Intellectual Programming Committee.

This challenge is a wonderful example of our Meadowell culture of wellbeing, where thoughtful programming supports lifelong learning, social connection and the joy of trying something new. Donna continues to lead experiences that inspire residents to think creatively, engage with one another and celebrate the power of bright minds working together.
