School’s out for summer, but youth mental health remains in session.
At NAMI Montgomery County PA, we know that summer can be a time of fun and relaxation, but for some young people it can also bring loneliness, anxiety, stress, or changes in routine that impact their mental health.
As families head into summer break, we encourage you to:
Check in and ask how your child is really doing.
Create opportunities for connection and conversation.
Watch for changes in mood or behavior.
Remind young people that asking for help is a sign of strength.
Every young person deserves to feel supported, heard, and never alone.
If you or someone you know is looking for support, NAMI Montgomery County PA is here to help.
