🏐✨ Spreading Volleyball Cheer! ✨🏐

Our team from The Ashleigh took a fun little road trip to visit our wonderful sister community, The Wellington at Lake Manassas! 🚗💨

We were on a mission to be the ultimate ambassadors for the amazing sport of Seated Volleyball! 🙌🪑 We mixed up the teams, shared plenty of laughs, and had some seriously great rallies back and forth over the net. 💥🎈

Huge thanks to The Wellington at Lake Manassas for being such fantastic hosts! Next time, the rematch is at our place—get ready for round two! 😉🏆

🐝🍯 What’s all the buzz at the Ashleigh at Lansdowne? 🍯🐝

A HUGE special thanks to Kerry Stagman from Bright Star Care for stopping by and giving a bee-utiful presentation on bees and honey tasting! 🌻✨

Our residents were so curious and engaged learning all about how bees work their magic and exploring the delicious differences between various types of honey. 😋🍯

To make the day even sweeter, Kerry brought us the most gorgeous sunflowers that instantly brightened up the room! 🌻💛

Thank you, Kerry, for bringing sweet treats, lovely blooms, and so much fun to our community! 🙌✨

🛩️ Blue Skies & Big Smiles! ☀️
The Ashleigh had the absolute best time participating in the incredible Dream Flights program alongside our fellow Northern Virginia RUI sister properties! 🤍✨

A massive shoutout to our very own Donald Rooney, who took to the skies in an authentic WWII biplane! 🪂💨 Donald had an absolute blast soaring through the clouds and came back down to earth with the biggest, brightest smile we've ever seen. 😁🇺🇸

A huge thank you to The Wandering Docent for guiding us on an incredible journey through the American Collection at the National Gallery of Art!✨

Our residents had a truly wonderful time exploring the galleries, diving into the history, and learning the fascinating stories behind every brushstroke. There is nothing quite like experiencing such beautiful art together! 🖼️❤️

A HUGE shoutout and a massive thank you to the amazing Tiffany Plante from Capital Caring Health! 💖✨

Tiffany took some extra time out of her day to sit down with our residents and families to chat all things Hospice. 🛋️💬 She patiently answered all of our questions, clearing up the myths and making sure we are truly well-informed about what this wonderful service actually provides.

We feel so much more comfortable and knowledgeable thanks to your kindness, Tiffany! You are an absolute gem! 💎🙌

🎨🍷 Red, White, and Cabernet! 🇺🇸✨

Today, our residents channeled their inner Monets for a very special Paint & Sip! 🖌️❤️ In honor of America’s big 250th anniversary celebration, we traded our usual canvases for Old Glory and painted the beautiful U.S. flag. 🗽⭐️

Safe to say, the wine was great, the laughs were plenty, and the talent was absolutely unmatched! Who knew we had so many master artists in our midst? 🍷🎨

🎉 Celebrating a True Nature Champion: Frank McLaughlin! 🌲🦇🏺
We gathered to celebrate a very special WOW Moment for the one and only Frank McLaughlin!

Frank was absolutely instrumental in getting both the North American Bat Monitoring Program (NABat) group and the Archeological Society of Virginia groups started right here at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve.

To honor his incredible legacy, both groups teamed up at the preserve to give Frank an update on the amazing work he set in motion. There were plenty of laughs, a few happy tears, and a whole lot of gratitude knowing that the foundations he helped build are still going incredibly strong. 🌲✨

🙌 Also, a very special thanks to Dr. Bruce Kimmel for his incredible support and for helping make this wonderful celebration happen!

It was the perfect way to show a truly remarkable person just how much he means to so many people. Thank you, Frank, for your vision, dedication, and lasting impact on our community! 💚

Congratulations to our 2nd Quarter Team Member WOW Moment Award recipient, Mario Portillo Ortiz!

This quarter, we had the privilege of recognizing Mario for his incredible dedication and nine years of service at Ashleigh at Lansdowne. As part of his WOW Moment, Mario received two tickets to the FIFA World Cup match between France and Iraq. Even more special, he shared this unforgettable experience with his son, creating memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️⚽

Mario's hard work, commitment, and positive spirit have made a lasting impact on our residents, families, and team. Thank you, Mario, for everything you do—we are grateful to have you as part of the Ashleigh at Lansdowne family!

A presidential visit!

Today, we stepped back in time with a very special guest! The wonderful Ron Duquette joined us, bringing history to life as he portrayed Founding Father John Adams in our RUI University class. 📜✍️

He gave a fantastic presentation, masterfully explaining exactly how the American Revolution began. Our residents were completely captivated by his incredible storytelling and his amazing, interactive way of connecting with everyone.

Some of Loudoun County's top professionals hit the bays at Topgolf in Ashburn for our annual Swing for the Cure event! In honor of "Do What You Love to End Alzheimer's Day", formerly "The Longest Day", we spent the afternoon doing exactly that—having a blast together while raising money to help fight Alzheimer’s. 🧠💜✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, swung for the fences, and donated to this amazing cause! Together, we’re driving toward a cure. 🏎️💨⛳
