Tried many spas in Bali and as always I want to always do something we don’t have here (or that I’m aware of)
First 4 hand massage, as they call it.
Two therapists massaging one person at the same time. Very cool concept. You basically get a two hour massage in an hour.
Hard part for me as a therapist is to relax and enjoy instead of paying attention to all details so I can bring things learned back to my clients.
Here I learned very easily the difference on how it feels to receive a massage from a therapist who cares about you as a human and your bodies needs compared to a therapist who is watching the clock and just doing a massage as a job.
I wanted to go again with just the one who cared as she was amazing. She had only been massaging for two years while the other had been for four years. - who knows maybe I caught the one on her bad day.
But it reminded me that the client can feel it. We need as Therapists take time off so we can do our jobs the best for the clients.
