My Why…. (In short)

Birth is undeniably one of life’s most important, if not the most important, experiences. It is the becoming of the physical world for one. & the transcending of new heights for the other. While the intertwining of an unmistakable magical & spiritual presence that fills a birth space from ceiling to floor.
Birth is a natural physiological process, that is meant to be supported. For the space to be held for that birthing person & that mother. Space for them to allow trust- in their instincts, their body, & their baby as they work together. It is their Birth Right to do so. As a Doula I am honored to share these spaces with these amazing families & support that journey. THIS IS WHY I DO THIS WORK. For me this is purposeful, this is sacred, this is healing, this is black joy-& black justice.
