Do you want to be of service to Alcoholics Anonymous in the Lansing area? Want to meet new people and work your program in a different way? Want a regular shift once a week or just to drop in, now and again? We'd love you to help us keep carrying the message and are always looking for new volunteers.

🧡October’s “O” is for Organization! 🧡

Today, we’re recognizing Recovery Mobile Clinic for bringing compassionate medical care to communities across Michigan’s Lower Peninsula! 🚐🩺

Their mobile team helps make care more accessible through medical services, prescription refills, on-site Vivitrol injections, and referrals to outside providers—including MAT clinics and other health care professionals. They also help people connect with health coverage and resources so they can take the next step toward getting the care they need.

Beyond the services they provide, it’s the people who make a difference. Their staff is caring, compassionate, friendly, and willing to listen—helping people feel heard, respected, and supported. 🧡

At Pinnacle Recovery Services, we have been strong supporters of their work, and we’re grateful for their commitment to our community. Bringing care directly to people can open doors to better health, stronger recovery, and renewed hope.

Today, we’re shining a light on A Higher Focus, a photography and inspiration page created by Pinnacle’s owner, Alina Bierwagen. Through her love of nature and photography, Alina shares beautiful moments from life’s travels and invites others to slow down, look closer, and see through a different lens. 🧡

Her vision is about finding peace, nurturing spiritual growth, and making room for self-awareness, self-love, and learning. From a quiet moment in nature to an unexpected discovery along the way, her photos encourage us to notice the beauty around us—and within ourselves. 🌅🦋

Finding activities that bring happiness, hope, and purpose can be a meaningful part of recovery and personal growth. Today, we are recognizing The Fledge Foundation for the care, generosity, and opportunities they bring to our Lansing community! 🌟

From food and clothing to resources and support, The Fledge opens its doors to people in need and creates a place where connection and belonging can grow. Their free food pantry is available 24 hours a day, every day, helping our neighbors access something no one should have to go without.

Their community-driven programs support youth and adults, and they host a wide variety of events and activities that give people opportunities to learn, create, connect, and share positive experiences. Sometimes an open door is the beginning of finding hope, encouragement, and a community that cares. 🧡

Today, we want to recognize Mid-Michigan Recovery Services, a nonprofit and one of our community’s longest-standing programs supporting people seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

With a continuum of care that includes residential treatment, outpatient services, sober living, peer support, and more, they help people find support through different stages of their recovery journey. Their work is an important part of the broad network of programs serving our community. 🤝

At Pinnacle, we refer some of our residents to Mid-Michigan Recovery Services for outpatient care, and we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate toward a shared goal: helping people build healthier lives and lasting recovery.

Thank you to their team for your years of service, your dedication to the clients you serve, and your contributions to our recovery community. Every connection between programs creates another opportunity for someone to find the help and hope they need. 💜
