Kitch-iti-Kipi is one of the states treasures and one of MAC Assistant Director Tim Gaughan’s favorite places. Michigan's largest natural freshwater spring. Also known as "The Big Spring" or the "Mirror of Heaven," this scenic wonder features crystal-clear, turquoise water that stays a constant 45°F year-round. It’s about a 90-minute drive from Marquette, but well worth the trip if you’re joining us for the UP Convention, August 15-16th. See you there!

One of the Gaughan family’s favorites (except for Tim, who you may be shocked to find out is NOT a fan of sand lol) is Pete’s Lake Recreation Center on FFH 13.
