A century of life, love, and stories, and we got to celebrate it right here at Grandhaven! 💐

Family came from near and far to fill our Community Room with laughter, hugs, flowers, and the most beautiful cake. Our residents put on their party hats and joined in, and the joy in the room was something we won’t forget.

Sweetdie Mae, thank you for sharing this milestone with us. Here’s to you and the 100 years of memories you carry! 👑🎂

Yesterday the whole Grandhaven family celebrated a very special milestone. Our own Sweetdie Mae turned 100! 🎂💐

Picture it: party hats, a crown, a beautiful cake, and a room full of residents, family and staff singing “Happy Birthday.” She smiled the whole way through, and so did we. 💛

What an afternoon at the Lansing Fall Senior Expo at the Lansing Mall! The crowd was steady from start to finish, and our table was so busy we had to speed up the footage just to fit it all in. 😄

To everyone who stopped by to say hello, grab a goodie, ask questions, or just chat for a minute: thank you. Our team loved meeting each of you, and those conversations are exactly what community is all about.

Small knots, big impact 💙💚

On Monday, a group of our Grandhaven residents joined the community at DoubleTree by Hilton Lansing for their Comfort Blanket Making Event in support of Gift of Life Michigan.

Knot by knot, our residents helped create handmade no-sew fleece blankets that will be given to organ and tissue donor families during one of the hardest moments of their lives. Sea turtles, butterflies, sprinkles, hearts and paw prints: each one made with care and meant to wrap a grieving family in warmth and kindness.

There was plenty of laughter, a few donuts, and a whole lot of heart around those tables. Our residents showed once again that giving back doesn't have an age limit. 🧶

Thank you to DoubleTree Lansing for hosting and to Gift of Life Michigan for the meaningful work you do every day. We were honored to be part of it.
