Today was filled with sweet treats, laughter, and great memories as Kona Ice came to visit The Indigo at Lansing!

Join us for an afternoon filled with beautiful cars, community fun, summer sunshine, and sweet treats from Kona Ice! 🍧Our residents will have the chance to vote for their favorite car, enjoy great company, and watch prizes be awarded to some amazing vehicles!

Today was a beautiful day in our Gardening Club here at The Indigo at Lansing! 🌼🌱

Our residents spent the afternoon outdoors planting flowers we lovingly grew from seeds, weeding and preparing our flower beds, listening to music, and soaking up the sunshine together. There’s something special about getting your hands in the dirt, sharing laughs with friends, and watching hard work bloom into something beautiful! 💐☀️

Days like today remind us that growth happens best in community! 💙

✨ Janet’s Dare to Dream ✨

For Janet’s Dare to Dream experience, her wish was beautifully simple, yet deeply meaningful — to have her nails professionally done for the very first time! 💅

Janet shared that throughout her entire life, she had always painted her own nails and had never experienced the joy of visiting a nail salon. The moment we arrived, her excitement was impossible to miss. From picking out the perfect color to chatting with the nail technician, Janet smiled uncontrollably the entire time, soaking in every moment of being pampered and cared for!

When her nails were finished, she looked down with the biggest smile and said,
“Everyone should be able to experience this.” 🥰

To make the day even sweeter, we stopped for one of Janet’s favorite treats — Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream. As an avid coffee lover, she savored every bite while continuing to talk about her wonderful day!☕️🍦

By the end of the outing, Janet proudly declared,
“Today was a ten out of ten, and I don’t know if I’m allowed to rate it higher, but if I could, I would!”

Moments like these remind us that dreams do not have an age limit! 💙
