We hate to do it guys but the weather on Sunday is looking awful so we are going to have to cancel this first session. It's supposed to be in the low 60's, and raining with a 15mph wind. That is not weather that we want to hang out in, and we're pretty sure that you don't want to either.

Never fear! We have another class coming up in just a couple weeks! Sunday, June 28th is the new kickoff date, and we have some amazing new surprises in store for you guys. We love you, and we can't wait to practice yoga with you at the Fish Ladder Music Park in Old Town!

Please note it appears that the weather forecast for Sunday has shifted and is not looking great. This is Michigan and the weather can change at a moments notice. These are outdoor classes so rain, and cold temperatures will force us to cancel or reschedule. We will make the call on Sunday morning and let everyone know on the event and our page. We are so excited to bring these free community classes to Lansing! Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate!

We’re excited to practice yoga with you this summer at Fish Ladder Music Park! Here’s everything you need to know to have a smooth and enjoyable experience:

Class Time
Classes begin promptly at 10:30 AM and last about one hour. Please plan to arrive by 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM to check in, find your spot, and get settled. Check-in closes at 10:25 AM, and all participants must be signed in to join the class.

What to Expect
All classes are held outdoors. In the event of rain or cold weather, sessions may be rescheduled or canceled. There is no shade available, so we recommend bringing sun protection if needed. Classes will include bending, stretching, balancing, and transitions between ground and standing positions. If you have any health or mobility concerns, please consult a healthcare professional and participate at your own pace.

What to Bring
A yoga mat (extras will be available if you don’t have one)
A water bottle (a cooler with cold water will be provided)
A small towel (limited extras available if needed)

Breaking News!!!! Limber lovers of Lansing take over Fish Ladder Music Park for free community yoga classes!! The Lansing Free Yoga Project is teaching free yoga classes, and spreading positivity at the newly renovated Fish Ladder Music Park in Old Town Lansing this summer!

We thought that was pretty cool so we gave them some of our All People Deserve Love stickers to give away! They've got free classes scheduled all summer long, and their first class starts this Sunday! Start your Sunday with some yoga, and grab a free sticker while you're at it! ❤️

Lansing is filled with people doing amazing things, and we think that's pretty awesome! Never stop being the wonderful and weird place that we love to call home! We love you Lansing! 😍

This Sunday at 10:00am this amazing riverfront space will transform into Lansing's most unique Yoga experience! The Lansing Free Yoga Project is so excited to bring these inclusive, beginner friendly, and completely free outdoor classes to the Fish Ladder Music Park!

Get ready to breathe, move, and relax! Find peace, increase mobility, and shed stress through the practice of yoga! To make this as barrier free as possible we've even got over 60 loaner mats if you don't have one!

Just another friendly reminder that our free community yoga classes start at the Fish Ladder Music Park in less than 2 weeks!!!

We are so excited to practice yoga with you in one of Lansing's most unique outdoor settings! These inclusive beginner focused classes are going to be an amazing experience!
