A few things to know about Covid testing:
A PCR test is the most accurate test (>90% accuracy) and should be taken 4-5days after exposure or at least 2 days into symptoms.
If you’ve beeen exposed and test negative before the end of the 14 day quarantine, YOU STILL NEED TO FINISH YOUR QUARANTINE.
There is no such thing as “testing out of quarantine.”
If you have a positive covid patient in your home, everyone in the home needs to quarantine for 14 days to see if symptoms develop, if they do it’s an additional 10 days of quarantine from the onset of symptoms.
It’s easier to isolate, wash your hands, and wear a mask to avoid infection than it is to potentially quarantine up to 24 days.
If you are vaccinated you do not have to quarantine unless you have known exposure AND YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS. Vaccines lower your risk of severe disease they do not necessarily keep you from contracting COVID.
