A dysregulated parent cannot calm a dysregulated child. YOU WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE. Want your children to be peaceful? Relaxed? Feel their feelings without having tantrums?? YOU have to BE what you want them to be! Heal yourself. Role- model regulation. Our work as parents is to learn how to regulate ourselves.
