Alpert Enterprises

For the 4th time, Alpert Enterprises has been named the GOLD People's Choice, Best of the Best by the Tampa Bay Times' readers. Check out pg 42, right next to the Best of the Best Barber Shops, because, why not, right? We'd like to thank all the little people...and big people too. We are lucky enough to live and work in a community that values philanthropy. The 200+ events we do each year from Salt Lake City to Pinellas Park and everywhere in between are only possible because of the generosity of those who attend. Whether it's an event with 40 attendee or 4,000, raising $14,000 or $14,000,000, we've done them all. While it's not required or the reason we do what we do, the recognition is always nice. We've been known to pull some tricks out of out our bag now and again to bring an extra bit of engagement to a fundraiser. Case in point, check out the Puttskee game and the Higher/Lower game Alpert Enterprises provided to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation golf tournament at the iconic TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. All part of helping raise more than $600,000 to support the mission of impacting the lifesaving capabilities and lives of local heroes and communities by providing funding, lifesaving equipment, and resources to first responders and public safety organizations.

And how 'bout this? A donor won pair of tickets to the World Series in the live auction for $6,500 without even knowing what teams would be playing or what city the games would be in! Also included in the package was a baseball signed by a member of the World Series winning team courtesy of Socially Funded and Firehouse Subs, the official Sub of major league baseball. $1,000,000 BID FROM THE HEART DONATION!!!

Putting on a successful Bid From the Heart has become Alpert Enterprises' forte. We believe no one does it better. The results speak for themselves; $40,000,000 raised in the past year in the Bid From the Heart alone. Our success is due to our best practices. Practices that are proven tried and true. One of those guiding principles is the belief to always ask for more than you think you will get.

That proven methodology worked once again as we supported the fundraising efforts of Morton Plant Mease Foundation with a $1,000,000 Bid From the Heart goal at their Illuminate Gala. So, when your goal is $1,000,000, why not ask to see if anyone was willing to START us out at that level? Vallye Alexander Adams did just that and, just like that SHE GOT IT! Total funds raised in the Bid From the Heart....$1.7 MILLION. The culture of giving at the Foundation is strong. Qtego Fundraising Services

Just when you thought we had auctioned off everything possible, we get this...a 6ft tall metal chicken! Apparently everything IS bigger in Texas. It was donated to the Water Well Trust auction in San Antonio, TX. But this was more than just a 6 ft tall metal chicken. WWT board member and passionate supporter Brian Irwin passed away a few months ago. He loved chickens and this particular chicken was on display at his celebration of life. After which, his family wanted to donate it to The Trust to help raise funds and support its mission that Brian was so passionate about. We didn't have any problem auctioning off the chicken. I'm just glad we didn't have to deal with shipping the chicken. This was just one element that helped us raise almost $200,000 in a room with less than 80 people.

Every year, we also work with Tournament Promotions to do a $10,000 putting contest during our auction. Take a look at the video to see how close we came to having a winner. On the golf course, however, we did have a $1,000 winner in the Everyone Putts for $1,000 contest! Pretty creative name we came up with, huh? Visual Advantage - Meeting & Event Services

Thank you to Stageworks Theatre for inviting Alpert Enterprises to be part of their newest production, Jane Austen in 89 Minutes. We didn't expect the back cover the playbill, but I guess those are the perks that come from knowing the sponsor, and the playwright, the incomparable Syrie James. In addition to this play, she's written 16 books and comes from one heck of a family.

Alpert Enterprises has worked with Chiefs Foundation for at least 9 straight years and this one, was one for the record books. Thank you to the Pepin Family Foundation and Gold & Diamond Source, and Julie Weintraub's Hands Across the Bay for being the foundation of which so much of the successes of this organization are born from. The new venue this year, Opal Sol, hosted an amazing event with top notch service, Qtego Fundraising Services handled all the donations without fail and Beamworks make sure everything looked great and sounded crystal clear. And oh by the way, Alpert Enterprises team of fundraising specialist and Bid Spotters knocked it out of the park too!

Another $1,000,000@ event in the books. Alpert Enterprises had the privilege of working with AdventHealth Tampa at the Starlight Gala for at least the 8th straight year. So many people in the room that make this event magical, but none more than Pepin Family Foundation and the Glazer Family and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Qtego Fundraising Services J. Alpert Enterprises loved supporting Angelwood, Inc. for the 7th year in a row. Not only did we reach our aggressive Bid From the Heart goal, but we also played a new fundraising gam during the live auction called How Far Is it?!. Kudos to for being the brain child behind that one. We loved working with and from News4Jax. Thanks to Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa for the great service and Sight & Sound Productions for making sure everything looked and sounded great! The team at Alpert Enterprises (Geoff Cowan Vallye Alexander Adams, , Rosie Walsh, and Devani Abilock Alpert) wrapped up the spring fundraising season with 2 full days of collaboration, professionally and personally. It started with our friends at Clothes To Kids, Inc. opening their doors for us to host our all-day meeting. I mean, why would we use our conference room at the AE World Headquarters in Largo when Clothes To kids has an entire store for us to use? We even spent part of our day giving back by volunteering some of our time in the back room sorting and folding clothes.

Thank you to everyone that joined us throughout the day for our new vendor introductions and our industry panel. We are all better off because of it.

We capped off the work with some play beginning with a get together with our extended families, a Rays game and golf at Palma Ceia Gregory Smith.

A wise man named Phil Jackson once said, "The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.” That is true for us. I"d also point out the Phil Jackson coached "individual members" named Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Kobe Bryant, and Shaquille O'Neal. He also had Dennis Rodman. I wonder which one of the Alpert Enterprises' team is like each of those players?
