Dear families,
We've received an influx of calls recently inquiring about contract changes with a sister company, Tulip Cremation. Yes, it is true! In Florida, Tulip plans will now be honored by our Baldwin Brothers office here in Largo, one of our many long-established locations, formerly known as "Beacon Direct." Effective July 31st, 2026, the Tulip contracts and files were transferred to our records. If you received a written correspondence from Tulip notifying you of these changes, please rest assured that your existing prearrangement funds and contract remain secure, the prices you paid with Tulip are still locked in, and no immediate action is required.
Inquire today about receiving a Baldwin "Notification Card" to keep somewhere conspicuous in your home, on your fridge, in your wallet, etc. so your family members, local law enforcement, and/or health providers can access contact information for your next of kin and our funeral home in case of an emergency. Our staff can provide these cards to you in person or via post mail. While the phone numbers may be a little different now, our commitment to you and your family remains the same. If you or someone you know in the Tampa Bay Area has an existing plan with Tulip Cremation, let them know we are now the place to call when the time comes. This weekend, as many pause to honor the spirit of freedom and remember those who made it possible, we at Baldwin Brothers Largo hold space for those who may be carrying both gratitude and grief at the same time. Our funeral director in charge, Alissa Houssein, has put together this lovely "Missing Man Table" in remembrance of our troops who are no longer with us. This cenotaph for our fallen soldiers, now displayed in the lobby of our Largo office, serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by many for the continuation of our country's freedom.

As you gather with loved ones this weekend, we hope you find moments of peace and connection. Fourth of July may bring up a mix of emotions, especially for families who have recently lost a loved one, or who are thinking of a veteran or service member who is no longer here. Grief does not take a break, and neither does our commitment to supporting you.

Our office will be closed from Friday July 3rd to Sunday July 5th in observance of our country's 250th anniversary, but if you need us this weekend, we are still just a call away. We remain committed to serving you in your time of need. (727) 507-0397.

At Baldwin Brothers, we understand that every family's story is unique and deserves to be honored with dignity and respect. We are committed to serving all families in our community with compassion and care, regardless of background or tradition.

Our office is closed today in recognition of Juneteenth, but our phones are still being monitored 24/7 and someone is always available to take your call. Our caring staff will return during regular business hours on Monday June 22nd.
