A brand-new month means a brand-new calendar packed with fun, friendship, laughter, music, creativity, outings, and plenty of reasons to make memories together! 💙

And one of our BIGGEST highlights is National Assisted Living Week — September 13–19! 🎉🏡💐

This is a week dedicated to celebrating what makes assisted living so special — the incredible people who call Lake House home, the families who support them, and the amazing team members who help make every day meaningful. ❤️

We’ll be celebrating all week long with special activities, themed fun, surprises, and plenty of opportunities to recognize just how much our Lake House family means to us! 🥰

🍌🎉 BANANA PUDDING + JEOPARDY = A WINNING COMBINATION! 🎉🍌

We had TWO great reasons to celebrate today! First up… National Banana Pudding Day! And our chef absolutely spoiled us with a delicious, creamy, dreamy banana pudding that had everyone coming back for another bite! 😋🍌💛

Then it was time to put those brains to work! 🧠💡 We teamed up for a group game of Jeopardy! and brought plenty of friendly competition, laughter, and some serious trivia skills! 🙌👏

There’s nothing better than a day filled with good food, good friends, lots of laughs, and a little friendly competition! ❤️

And that banana pudding? Let’s just say our chef definitely knows how to keep us sweet! 😉🍌

Families, we need your help getting our residents ready to show their team spirit! 🎉

On September 4, we’re celebrating College Colors Day at Lake House, and we want to see our residents proudly sporting the colors of their favorite college football team! 👕🏈🎩

As you’re visiting your loved one, take a peek in their closet and help them pick out a favorite team shirt, jersey, hat, sweatshirt, or anything that shows their school pride. If they don’t have anything, don’t worry—just wearing their team’s colors is perfect! 💙❤️💚💛

The Activities Director HIGHLY recommends sporting some University of Michigan gear! 💙💛🏈 GO BLUE! 😂💙💛

It was hands up and feet on the floor with Mikey D! 🎶🙌💃 He always knows how to rock the house and get everyone moving! ❤️

Music really is good for the soul, and with the rain pouring down outside, we decided to bring the sunshine inside! ☔️➡️☀️

There were smiles, singing, dancing, and plenty of good vibes all around. Thank you, Mikey D, for another afternoon of music, fun, and memories! 🎤🎸❤️

Happy Hour is always a good idea—especially when it’s with the ever-amazing Devon! But before we kicked off the music and fun, we had to take a moment to celebrate our birthday girl! 🎂🥳💐

Devon treated us to another wonderful afternoon of music and even shared a beautiful original song he wrote with our residents. What a special gift to share your own music with us! ❤️🎵

Of course, no Happy Hour is complete without delicious snacks and refreshing Florida Sunrise Mocktails! 🍹🌅✨

What a BIG way to end the week! 🎉🍩🏛️

We packed so much fun into one amazing morning! We started with a little sweet treat at Parlor Doughnuts before heading over for a grand tour of the brand-new Largo City Hall! 🏛️✨

What a beautiful building! From the 5th floor, we even had an incredible view all the way to The Trop in St. Pete! 🌴🌆 And the stunning artwork throughout the building was truly something to admire. We were especially excited to see the work of one of our very own residents on display! ❤️🎨 We couldn’t be prouder of her and loved seeing her talent showcased in such a beautiful space!

A sweet start to the day, a wonderful adventure, and so many memories made together! Thank you to our friend Mayor Woody Brown for setting the tour up for us!💕✨

Some days are packed with excitement, and some days are a little more relaxed—and that’s perfectly okay! 💙

Today started with our morning meeting, followed by some fun fitness with our friends from Legacy. 💪😊 Then, after a great afternoon book club, we settled in for a chill—but definitely competitive—game of a resident favorite: “I Need That!” 🎉

There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and some serious game-playing skills on display! 🏆👏

Congratulations to our “I Need That!” champions! 🥳 You earned those bragging rights!

Because sometimes the best days are the ones that simply give us time to enjoy each other’s company, have a few laughs, and do what we love. ❤️🏡

Who needs an excuse for pie when it’s National Ice Cream Pie Day?! 😍 We certainly didn’t pass up the opportunity to celebrate!

Our residents gathered for a delicious butter pecan ice cream pie social, and let’s just say… it was every bit as good as it sounds! 🍨🤎 We enjoyed our sweet treat, followed by some fun trivia that had everyone thinking, laughing, and sharing a few “I knew that!” moments! 🧠✨

It’s the simple afternoons like these that make our days so special—good food, great company, lots of laughter, and time spent together creating memories. ❤️

Penny always has the neatest things to share with our residents—whether it’s live creatures, beautiful shells, or something fascinating from nature! 🐚🦈🦴

Today was Fossil Day! 🦖✨ Our residents got to dig for their own “fossils” using small tools, and of course, we still got to enjoy a special treat along the way! 😋

Then Penny shared her amazing collection of real fossils, including everything from buffalo bones to shark teeth! 🦬🦈 What a fun and fascinating hands-on experience!

We are so grateful for Penny volunteering her time and sharing her wealth of knowledge with our residents. She always brings something interesting, educational, and fun for everyone to enjoy! 💙

🏖️🌴 Beach Week Finale! 🌴🏖️

We wrapped up an unforgettable Beach Week with a Happy Hour full of ALL the beach vibes! 🌊☀️

The cool beach sounds of Pickin Rick had us tapping our toes and enjoying every minute! 🎶 We enjoyed delicious teriyaki meatballs, fresh-cut fruit, vanilla key lime cupcakes, and refreshing mango guava colada mocktails! 🥭🌺🍹✨

A perfect tropical treat to cap off a week filled with sunshine, laughter, music, creativity, and so many wonderful memories! 💙

🌺 Beach Week may be over, but the memories will last all year long! 🌺
