In May, Diversicare launched our Culture in Bloom initiative, designed to promote a positive, engaging workplace for our employees through activities and recognition throughout the year. To kick things off, several residents joined our team to plant flowers, marking the start of our "blooming" journey together.

Months later, those flowers are thriving — and so is our culture! We're proud to share that Diversicare has been officially designated a Great Place to Work. 💙

Please join us in welcoming Akeim Thames, Assistant Administrator for the Healthcare Center at Buck Creek!

Akeim began his long-term care career as a Transitional Care Liaison in admissions, where he developed a passion for quality care, communication, and building strong relationships. He is excited to continue growing as a leader while making a positive impact on both residents and team members.

Akeim graduated from Samford University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, and we are excited to have him on the Diversicare team!
