The MEDIAN Project (Medical and Educational Interagency Autism Network) is proud to announce the completion of its 2026 intensive training cohort. The Papen-Aprendamos Autism Diagnostic Center partnered with Region 9 Education Cooperative and The New Mexico Public Educatjon Department to provide this specialized training.

This year, 115 providers and pre-service providers from across New Mexico participated in a 5-day training that included:

✅ Recognizing autism across diverse populations
✅ Applying New Mexico Technical & Evaluation Manual guidelines for autism evaluation

The MEDIAN Project's mission is to increase the skill set of school-based autism evaluators and remove barriers to medical autism diagnosis so that every student receives the quality evaluation they deserve, regardless of where they live in New Mexico.

• Bernalillo Public Schools
• Capitan Municipal Schools
• Cooperative Educational Services
• Clovis Municipal Schools

• Farmington Municipal Schools
