Please join us in congratulating Gabrielle Jordan, Gabby, as our new Interim Clinic Lead at our Esperanza Children's Therapy Clinic! ✨

Gabby brings over 6 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist and has a strong record of supporting clients across our Esperanza Clinic.

In this interim role, she will support clinical staff and help ensure continuity of care. 💚

During this transition, Gabby will work closely with our Director of Clinic Services to enhance clinical services and support initiatives for both Esperanza clinics. We look forward to Gabby's leadership and mentorship to our clinical staff.

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across southern New Mexico.

Aprendamos Family of Services is hiring COTAs to support children through Early Intervention and clinic-based services in Anthony, Santa Teresa, Chaparral, and Las Cruces, NM.

Full-Time | Part-Time | FFS | PRN
Sign-On Bonus Available

What you’ll do:

Provide therapy services that support daily living, motor, developmental, and sensory processing skills.

Implement individualized treatment plans as a COTA under OT supervision.

Partner with families through coaching, education, and progress updates.

Support children in clinic, home, and community environments based on program needs.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including OTs, COTAs, SLPs, PTs, BCBAs, RBTs, Family Therapists, and Early Intervention team members.

Participate in team meetings, IFSP planning, consultations, and ongoing care coordination.

Maintain timely documentation and meet program, billing, and FIT requirements.

What we’re looking for:

✅ Degree from an accredited OT or COTA program
✅ Active New Mexico OT or COTA license
✅ Pediatric experience preferred
✅ Early Intervention experience a plus
✅ Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
✅ For COTAs: ability to work under the supervision of a licensed OT
✅ Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance for community-based services

Pay:

✅ COTA: $46–$53/hour

What you’ll do:

Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs, goals, and diagnosis.

Provide evidence-based therapy for children ages 3 to 18 with sensory processing challenges and daily living skill needs.

Conduct evaluations using standardized assessment tools.

Partner closely with families to support progress beyond the clinic.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality, inclusive care.

Complete timely documentation and track each child’s progress.

What we’re looking for:

✅ OT: Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
✅ Active New Mexico license
✅ Pediatric outpatient or clinic experience preferred
✅ Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
✅ Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical judgment

Pay:
