I am incredibly grateful to celebrate 14 years of being cancer-free from triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC)! I stand as a testament to encourage anyone facing a cancer diagnosis.

This is a time to focus on yourself. Avoid comparing yourself to others’ situations, as each journey is unique.

Acknowledging Social Workers Globally!

I’m passionate about my work.
I’ve dedicated over 30 years to working with families and individuals.
My journey began as a Mental Health Therapy Aid at Manhattan Psychiatric Centers on Ward Island many moons ago.
Throughout my career, I held various titles at ACS, including Caseworker, FTC Facilitator, and Social Worker for a short period at the NYC Housing Authority. I then returned to ACS and left again.
My next adventure led me to become the Director of Social Services Department at DHS/DV Temporary Housing.

And now, I’m thrilled to operate my very own private practice:

This line of work is not for the weak, selfish, or self-centered. We have long days and low pay! Most social workers or individuals in social service are caregiver inherently . It’s our super power ✨ We are committed to equality for everyone, including children, families, individuals, men, and women. We care about our families, communities, and society as a whole. We believe that individuals should have the right to live a full life without discrimination based on race, s*x, s*xuality, or cultural differences. We advocate for medical insurance for all, financial and economic stability, suitable housing and educational funding and so much more .
