💙✨ We're excited to welcome Emely Bitanga to the Lumina Las Vegas family! 💙✨

Originally from the Philippines, Emely grew up on a farm surrounded by lush rice fields and breathtaking mountains—a love of nature that has stayed with her throughout her life. When she's not at work, you'll likely find her paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, camping, fishing, gardening, or cooking up something delicious! She also loves relaxing at home with her beloved fur babies.

Emely enjoys traveling to places she's never been, especially destinations with mountains and water. 🌊⛰️One of her favorite adventures was visiting the stunning waterfalls of Costa Rica.

Her taste in music is as diverse as her hobbies, ranging from country and R&B to pop, hip hop, Filipino music, religious music, and classical depending on the day! She also enjoys biographies, self-development books, action thrillers, rom-coms, and audiobooks.

A few fun facts about Emely:

Meet Robert, our Kitchen Manager at Lumina Las Vegas! 🍽️ With nearly 10 years of culinary experience across fine dining, catering, hotels, and more, Robert brings his passion for creating meaningful meals to memory care every day.

What inspired him to join Lumina? The opportunity to bring comfort, joy, and connection through food. For Robert, every meal is a chance to create a sense of home and show compassion—one of the Solera core values that means the most to him.

When he's not in the kitchen, you'll find him working on project cars, hiking, biking, enjoying the beach, or watching Mad Max: Fury Road (again!). And if there are Hot Cheetos nearby... they're probably not going to last long. 😄

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon aromatherapy hand massage, combining soothing scents with gentle touch to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and provide meaningful sensory stimulation. Offering this experience later in the day can help ease restlessness, support emotional well-being, and encourage a more peaceful transition into the evening.

At Lumina, we believe thoughtful moments of comfort can make a meaningful difference in each resident's day. ✨💛
